Media became a Bee City in 2022 and a Bird Town, PA in 2024, and in 2025 the Eagles won the Super Bowl and the Book Sale in support of the Media-Upper Providence Free Library celebrated its 55th Anniversary.

In 2015, Pope Francis visited Philadelphia and the first-generation Apple Watch was released, and in 2016 the new Media-Upper Providence Free Library building opened at 1 E. Front Street.
